Mack Simpson was not allowed acceptance into the UofMD to earn a Masters Degree so the state of Maryland paid for him to go to Columbia University, an Ivy League school to earn his Masters Degree.
In 2013 Mr. Simpson received the NcouragED Legend in Education Award. He also received the Living Legacy Award from Second Episcopal District Church.
